This is an eMail group hosted by Yahoo. By joining this group
you'll get eMail from members that are part of this group. The
eMail will arrive with a tag of [LOEC] in the subject line. We
would like to get to know you. Please join us.
We do have a few simple rules:
- No unauthorized solicitation!
WE HATE SPAM! If the only reason you've joined the group is to
send us your SPAM we will delete, and ban you from the group. If
you are a contributing member, in good standing, SURE post the cool
things you're offering or have found. But remember that this is a
discussion group - NOT a sales tool. Even members in good
standing will receive a warning if all we see are ads for your stuff.
- Our general focus is on church
related issues, prayer / energy requests, and spiritual discussion.
Yes, we often drop into chit chat mode. That's part of being a
family and a good way to get to know each other. We do strongly
ask that 'hot', emotional topics, or political issues be avoided.
There are plenty of other places to have heated discussions in those
areas. Remember, when you post, that everybody sees your eMail
and we have a lot of new people checking us out. If you have a
topic you want to discuss with a select few - do it off group - out of
respect for others. Yahoo groups are free :-) you could always
set one up for a 'topic' discussion.
